Hyperloop UPV presents Turian, their last prototype

The new prototype assures a remarkable improvement in various aspects such as weight-to-power ratio, acceleration and safety

Hyperloop UPV, the only team from Spain among the best universities in the world at the Hyperloop Pod Competition IV.

The team, which is composed of more than 40 students from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), has been selected once again for the final stage of the Hyperloop Pod Competition IV, held by the well-known aerospace company SpaceX. The competition will take place in Los Angeles next Summer 2019.

The last Networking event of 2018

The event, held at the Malvarrosa Design Factory, gathered some of the main sponsors of Hyperloop UPV, along with numerous members of the team. Firstly, attendees were able to take pictures with their company’s logo during the initial photocall.

Electronica 2018

Along with Matelec, the team also participated at Electronica, an event held in Munich last week. Hyperloop UPV participated in a discussion panel with other universities from the SpaceX competition.

The group members that joined Valentia at the leading event for the electrics, electronics and telecommunications industry, Matelec, are back and the sensations could not have been better. Hyperloop UPV exhibited together with RS Components at their stand during the whole week.

More than 40 startups gathered in the emblematic Plaza del Ayuntamiento with the objetive of sharing their projects and ideas with everyone who visited what became the cradle of Valencian entrepreneurship.

Valentia marked a turning point at Hyperloop UPV, hence we decided to create a documentary to show every stage from its development all the way to the Hyperloop Pod Competition III.

Home, sweet home

Valentia, the prototype presented by the team from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), finally rests after participating in the Hyperloop Pod Competition III, where was ranked among the top 10 ‘pods’ against more than 300 other universities from all over the world.

An event in which the sponsors and members of the Hyperloop UPV team had the opportunity to establish deeper relations with the sponsors.

In the finals again!

The team has been selected as one of the finalists in this summer’s competition organized by SpaceX. The task at hand is to build a prototype of the Hyperloop. The competition will take place in California this coming July.

Hyper-track arrives at the UPV

This past October the first testing track for Hyperloop was installed at the UPV, making it one of the most pioneering facilities in Europe.
